I am in the process of trying to produce a point to point communication with two Xilinx Virtex 7 VC707 FPGAS, each connected with an AD-FMCOMMS1-EBZ FMC. In order to do this, I know that one FMC must have the transmission terminated, and the other have the receiver terminated, but I am not sure what kind of termination to use. I was thinking a 50 ohm termination, but was unable to verify this anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
