I'm performing some basic temperature tests on an ADXL362 chip, and I use a halogen bulb to heat the part , because it is handy.
I measure offset deviation from 25°C and I use the internal temperature sensor to estimate chip temperature.
Heating the sensor has an impact on offset as said in the datasheet, especially above 50°C... so far so good.
But I notice that light also has an impact. I also tried using a maglite (instead of halogen, to avoid heating) and the applied light notably impacts the offset.
I tried this on 3 parts, same behaviour...
Is it normal ???
