ADF41020 Eval Board

Hi all,

I am trying the ADF41020 evaluation board with its on board 100MHz reference clock. I power up the board and connect to my PC. Then write to its registers via the ADI PLL Int-N program. The program shows that the board is connected. But when I change the RF output values, the output frequency does not change. I monitored the EXT_VCOOUT to a spectrum analyzer. It shows a peak at 5 and 10 GHz no matter what I input to the registers.

My question is: Could I test the evaluation board without any soldering or adding any connections besides power supply and USB?
