ADV7612 with compressed audio gives noise

We feed the ADV7612 with a HDMI input signal containing compressed audio.

The audio outputs are ok if the HDMI input signal contains a Dolby Digital audio stream.

But we get a machine-gun noise at the audio outputs if the HDMI input signal contains a Dolby Digital Plus audio stream.

Is there any known reason for such a problem?
