Hi there!
I'm using your powerful CFB-Opamp ADA4870 in on of my research projects at the Technical University Braunschweig in Germany. It works great, and I fully recommend the composite amplifier design that is mentioned in the datasheet. I used it with some modifications and the circuit shows great performances regarding current drive capability and bandwidth.
Now, where it comes to project ocumentation and theory, I'd like to include some details on the ADA4870 output stage amplifier. The datasheet is not offering a lot of informations about the internal circuitry, or some kind of a block diagram (a electronic engineering should be of course familiar with the very basics concepts, functionality and rules of CFB anmplifiers ).
So is there a way to get some details, for example the integrated chip architecture (input differential stage, current mirror action)? Most important for me is the way, the output stage has been designed (transistor types and configuration, class AB bias).
Maybe it's possible to get a very basic idea of you've done to achieve that high bandwidth with that power capability without publishing company secrets . You can also send me an email with some informations if possible.
Best regards
Sebastian
