Can anyone explain why with a 4.096 RefV going to a Pic18F4553 and a single 5V supply on a BREADBOARD... If I ground AINCOM and put any small voltage,,, example 0.0001 or 0.0455 of a volt all the way to 3 volts onto AIN1, It read's this exactly.. I'm using a 6 digit Voltmeter to compare.. This is with the the AD7192 buffer turned ON..??
The data sheet specifies that the buffer needs headroom of AGND + 250 mV, yet the AD7192 is tracking the input voltage well below that spec perfectly. Am I missing something... I'm certainly not complaining, as this would be Ideal but I am wondering...
Any comments would be appreciated... thanks...
