Hi Again, thought I should pose this as a question.. My plan is to build up a daughter board containing a 40MHz 12-bit ADC and feed the 12-bit parallel digital output data into the DSP via the expansion interface II of the ADSP-BF526 EZ-Board. Is my best bet here to use the P3 connector to feed in the data, as it contains dedicated pins for the Parallel Peripheral Interface (PPI)? It also has a clock and frame sync inputs which would be useful for inputting the data. Or would it make more sense to use the 16 data inputs on J1? I guess both are fed through the EBIU of the DSP anyway?
Also, if I do use P3 to interface to my board, will I be able to use pins 35, 36, 38 on P3 as GPIO outputs to control a few FET switches on my daughter board?
Cheers,
Dave
